     As you are all aware that Andhra University is conducting Ed.CET – 2008 on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education, Hyderabad this year also. 

     Ed. CET – 2008 Examination will be held on Sunday, 08-06-2008 between 11.00 A.M. and 1.00 P.M. in 248 test centres in 38 Cities/ Towns in the State of Andhra Pradesh. Total number of candidates registered for the examination is 1,04,346. The details of Methodology wise registered candidates are herewith enclosed. 

     Hall Tickets to all the candidates were already dispatched under certificate of posting through Speed Post Concentration Centre, Postal department, Visakhapatnam. If any candidate does not receive hall ticket, he/she can download the e-hall ticket from the under mentioned websites from 05-06-2008 onwards and write the examination. Candidate can also obtain duplicate hall ticket from the Chief Superintendent of concerned examination centre one day before the examination by submitting attested passport size photograph. The website addresses are :

    This year about 2500 students opted to write their examination in Urdu medium. Two examination centres namely Shadhan College of Education, Khairatabad and University Women's College, Koti in Hyderabad are exclusively allotted to Urdu medium students. One examination centre, I.A.S.E. Govt. B.Ed. College, B - Camp is allotted to Urdu medium students in Kurnool. 

    This year English methodology is newly introduced in Ed.CET. No translation either in Telugu or Urdu will be available for this methodology. 

    All the necessary arrangements to conduct the test have already been made by the Convener's Office.
